Trivia

  • Murray played the live version of Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters movies while Lorenzo Music, the cartoon show voice of Garfield, did the voice of Peter Venkman in the animated show The Real Ghostbusters for the first two seasons.
  • Murray has claimed that he took part in the first Garfield film under the false impression that the screenplay was co-written by Joel Coen (of the Coen Brothers fame), when it was actually Joel Cohen. In the film Zombieland, when asked if he had any regrets, Murray answered "Garfield, maybe".
