Clash of the Titans is an episode from the seventh season of Garfield and Friends.
When Garfield and Odie wind up on a cartoon with superheroes, they try to find a way back to their own show. Meanwhile, Jon becomes susceptible to a yogurt salesman.
One day, Garfield and Odie are taking a nice walk together and notice that everything looks different. Upon seeing the realistic looking dogs and the show airing on TV, they realize they're in the wrong series and that Jon is being scammed by a sleazy con. At that same time, some superheroes called "The Power Squad" see Garfield and Odie and believe them to be monsters and head to Earth to "stop them".
Before Garfield and Odie can get home, the Power Squad lands in front of them and asks them if they're from another world. Garfield tries to explain, but monsters from another dimension appear and start attacking the city. The Power Squad tries to stop them, but they are too strong. Garfield borrows a pencil from the animators and erases one of the monsters, causing the monsters to flee. Garfield decides to teach the Power Squad how to become lovable and popular. But before he can, Garfield remembers that Jon is still getting cheated and asks the Power Squad to help them and the superheroes agree.
They arrive back in Garfield and Odie's dimension, only to find out they're too late; Jon has already been scammed. Garfield decides to have Curd Man use his cottage cheese controlling powers to attack the salesman and it works. Jon says that he'll have Garfield eat the cheese if he lets him out of the contract, but the salesman refuses. Luckily, the Power Squad threatens him and the salesman finally agrees and runs away. Garfield, Jon and Odie then wave goodbye to the Power Squad, who go back to their own world.
- This is the second episode where Garfield suddenly finds himself on the wrong cartoon, following Invasion of the Big Robots.
- The Power Squad's show resembles the early 1990s X-Men animated series.
- When the Power Squad bring Garfield and Odie back to their show, Garfield asks if they can stop by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (another CBS series) to pick up pizza.
