"Squeak! What are you doing with that...that...cat?!" - Max
Max is one of the mice from The Garfield Show. He is Squeak's cousin, much to the latter's fear when he drops by. Due to how cats view mice as prey, he hates cats.
Appearance[]
Much like other mice, Max bears a physical resemblance to Squeak, in which he has a fairly equal distribution of weight between his head and his body. He also lacks the hair sticking out of his head, like other mice.
Personality[]
Max is very distrusting of cats due to their tendency of eating mice, to the point of showing the other mice a video depicting the horrors of mousing from a mouse's perspective. He initially treats Garfield like other cats, unlike his peers. After convincing the other mice that cats could torture them, they successfully remove Garfield. He is also known for not thinking things through like believing without Garfield, the mice will be fine, only to realize that Jon would be terrified of mice invading his house and calling an exterminator and when Max tries to fight the exterminator, he just got sucked in.
Despite this, he is later thankful of Garfield from keeping Pulver, of Pulver Extermination, from exterminating him and the other mice; he has Garfield become an honorary rodent.
