Holiday Happening is an episode from the sixth season of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis[]
Wade gets upset at Roy for chasing him with lemon meringue pies due to a holiday, so Wade creates his own holiday to get revenge.
Plot[]
Wade is walking on by, and everyone is hitting him with lemon meringue pies because it is Hit a Duck in the Face with a Lemon Meringue Pie Day, so he talks to Orson about this. Roy wants to do it again, and is inspired to do so after an encouraging conversation with Bo.
Orson explains to Wade that certain holidays are passed due to profit reasons for certain businesses. He then tells Wade he can write a letter to the senator if he does not like it. When he tries to tough it out the rest of the day, Roy comes in with many more pies and Wade runs away knowing what he will do with them. He resorts to doing what Orson told him to do.
Now, a new holiday is passed called Dump a Bucket of Mud on a Rooster's Head Day. Now, everyone starts dumping buckets of mud on Roy's head. Wade and Roy fight over with their mud and pies so much that Orson punishes them for their misbehavior. Because of this, they write to the senate requesting a new holiday, which passes.
Now a new holiday is announced as Paint a Pig Purple Day. Roy and Wade chase Orson around the farm to paint him purple.
