Return of The Incredibly Stupid Swamp Monster is an episode from the sixth season of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis[]
Swampy returns to the farm, while his creator searches for him.
Plot[]
At the very beginning of the episode, Wade's voice is heard reading the title of the episode. A moment later, Wade is seen panicking over the fact that this is a sequel to the episode that debuted the Incredibly Stupid Swamp Monster. He stumbles onto Orson, who was sleeping in his waller. When asked about the interruption, Wade tells Orson about the reason. Orson finds out that it is almost noon, and Roy has neglected to wake up the farmyard at six o'clock. Wade runs away while Orson confronts Roy. Roy announces that he no longer crows at dawn. While on his way, Orson stops and wonders what has been happening with the Incredibly Stupid Swamp Monster.
Meanwhile, the Incredibly Stupid Swamp Monster is wandering in the forest to look for a new friend while still displaying his overall lack of intellect. The Monster finds a wild rabbit sitting on a tree stump. He believes he has found a panther, then he grabs the rabbit and caresses him against the rabbit's will. A moment later, the Monster feels that his creator, Dr. Karloffis Boar, is looking for him (as the monster was originally a robot he made that got covered in swamp moss) by using a special detector that will locate his creation. The monster releases the rabbit and hides himself from his creator by sticking his head underground like an ostrich. The trick somehow works.
Doctor Boar finds Wade hiding inside another tree stump. After a brief dialouge with Wade, Karloffis makes his way to the farm and demands the locals to tell him where the monster is hiding. Nobody at the farm knows the answer. Seeing as how they will not talk, Dr. Boar uses his vehicle to tear the roof from Roy's house. He does so when Roy is bathing. The rooster complains about the violation of his privacy, but Dr. Boar does not seem to care. Karloffis gets convinced by Orson to activate a magnet that will pull all sorts of metal objects toward him, including a pile of tin cans and junk that needed to get taken care of earlier. The metal objects pile right onto the scientits and his hovercraft vehicle. The farm animals strike a deal with Dr. Boar - they will get him out of that pile on the condition he agrees not to pursue the monster anymore. Karloffis reluctantly accepts the deal and moves away with his vehicle.
As soon as the doctor leaves, the monster comes out and reveals that he was hiding as a tree, using branches as camouflage. Since Roy refuses to go back to crowing at the crack of dawn, Orson gives the monster Roy's old job. In the middle of the night, the monster, dressed as a rooster, wakes everyone up while it is still dark outside. Bo approaches Orson with a lit candle and complains about the monster not doing Roy's old job properly. In response, Orson admits that the monster is still more accurate than Roy and returns to sleep.
