Rick Deltoid (voiced by Stan Freberg) is a television fitness instructor, given nicknames such as "The Pharaoh of Fitness" and "The Sultan of Sit-ups".
Deltoid formerly had a show on WBOR. Jon Arbuckle was a devout follower of him, much to the dismay of Garfield, who figured he would "never get a decent meal as long as Jon listens to Bonehead the Barbarian". He also has a gym for working out.

- Garfield's name for Deltoid- "Bonehead the Barbarian"- was also used for a level from the Sega Game Gear version of Garfield: Caught in the Act.
